Hotel 119 - Darlington (Durham)

We stayed in single room with character. The location was unbeatable, within walking distance of St Cuthbert Church.

Stunning and easy location, walk from bars and restaurants. A train station close to the venue. Warm and cosy units with shared bathroom and comfortable pillows plus duvet.

great proximity to parks and charming local cafes

Being just a few steps from the Maple Kitchen & Bakery made my mornings good with fresh coffee and pastries, and I enjoyed a nice walk to Thornton Hall Gardens, almost 2 km away with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere.

Cozy and clean stay!

The staff were super friendly and always helped out. The communal kitchen was great for making a quick snack, and I really appreciated having a private bathroom. Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit stronger sometimes, but overall, it was a solid option for my trip.

Great facilities, warm hospitality, cozy stay.

The hotel's location is fantastic, being just a short walk from both the railway station and the vibrant town center. We explored Raby Castle and found the staff friendly. The spacious room and comfy beds made it perfect for our family.

In my wife's opinion, a play area for kids would be ideal.

Single room was super clean and comfy. Shared bathroom was always tidy. Loved the guest kitchen for tea and coffee! It had everything I needed for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helped with my luggage. Electric kettle and tv were nice touches. Overall perfect little spot!

I enjoyed the modern furniture and clean shared kitchen, accessible and well-equipped, making it easy for me to prepare my own light meals .

Could benefit from additional seating areas for relaxation.

Perfect for a Solo traveler with high standards

The kitchen was great with everything I needed for breakfast cereal and all the hot drinks I could want and the room was supersuper clean and cozy I felt right at home.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

Thicker bedding would be a huge comfort during the winter months!!! Extra cleaning supplies for the kitchen would also be appreciated!!!

A clean and comfortable room. The guest kitchen with complimentary drinks was a nice touch, although breakfast was a bit basic with make-it-yourself options. The location was ideal for exploring, but a few more sockets would be appreciated.

Enjoyed a cozy single room with a pleasant vibe. The shared bathroom was clean, but I felt the bedding could be warmer for winter nights. An extra kitchen sponge would have also been handy. Ideal for solo travelers looking for a cost-effective stay!

The place was exceptionally clean, and I would gladly return; I received a complimentary standard room with character as an upgrade, a nice gesture, and the room had an excellent design.

The convenient location within walking distance to Inside Out and other places in the city center, along with the practical amenities like a walk-in shower and bath sheets, made for a great stay.
